The 99th annual Days of ’76 Rodeo is slated for July 26-31, 2021 in Historic Deadwood, S.D. The event includes six days of PRCA rodeo action along with 2 historic parades!

Congratulations to the contestants and hardworking team that brought the annual Days of '76 Rodeo to Deadwood this year and for winning yet another Rodeo of the Year award! The Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association (PRCA) Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year award for 2020 goes to the Days of '76 Rodeo! This is the first time the Days of ’76 has received the Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year award!
In the history of the PRCA, no other rodeo has received the Small, Medium and Large Outdoor Rodeo of the Year awards and been inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame! What an honor!
2018
The Days of ‘76 moved up to the PRCA “Large Outdoor Rodeo” category.

Deadwood History and the Days of ‘76 Committee hosted an unveiling of the bronze statue of legendary Bronc Rider, Howard Hunter, at the Days of ‘76 Museum.

The Days of ’76 Rodeo was inducted into the Pro Rodeo Hall of Fame.
2004 – 2017
The Days of ‘76 moved up to the PRCA “Medium Rodeo” category in 2004 and took home their first “PRCA Medium Rodeo of the Year” award in 2004 as well as the next 13 years for a total of 14 consecutive years!
2002 - 2013
Recipient of the “Badlands Circuit Rodeo of the Year” award for 12 consecutive years.
1998 – 2001
4 time “PRCA Small Rodeo of the Year” award recipient.
1998 - 2000
3 time “Badlands Circuit Rodeo of the Year” award recipient.
