Days of ‘76 Parade
Information:
All parade entries must contact Mr. Travis Rogers by Friday, July 21, 2023.
Costuming for parade participants will take place at the campground cabin on Wednesday July 26 and Thursday July 27 between 3pm and 5pm and Friday July 28 between 9 am and 11 am.
Parade Costumes:
Parade participants who are wanting to wear a costume please be at the campground cabin on the following dates:
*Locals -
- Friday July 21 @ 4pm to 6pm
- Saturday July 22 @ 10am to 12pm
*Teamsters/Out of Towners -
- Wednesday July 26 @ 2:30pm to 4:30pm
- Thursday July 27 @ 2:30pm to 4:30pm
- Friday July 28 @ 9am to 11am
* Please return costumes on Friday after the parade or Saturday after the parade. Make sure your name is with the costume when you return it, so we can mark you off as returned and those who do not return will get a phone call. If you can not make any of these times please contact Jenna Smith @ 605-645-8362 to set up a time to either get a costume or return a costume.

Parade starts at 1:30 pm

All participants should arrive at event center 1 hour prior (12:30 pm) and be at line up position 30 minutes prior to parade start.
Saturday July 29, 2022
Parade starts at 10:00 am

All participants should arrive at event center 1 hour prior (9:00am) and be at line up position 30 minutes prior to parade start.
Political advertising/campaigning is NOT allowed as we want to preserve the western heritage of our parade. We welcome elected officials to ride in the parade but you must provide your own source of transportation. We will announce your name and seat throughout the parade.
Important Info for 2023

*NEW* NO CANDY will be allowed to be thrown during the parade as it creates a safety hazard for both spectators and equines.

ALL entries must check in at the campground cabin on Wednesday July 26 or Thursday July 27 between 3pm and 5pm or Friday July 28 between 9am and 11am.

You will receive a packet containing an entry/release form, a map of the event center explaining our NEW LINEUP FORMAT, and your entry number to be placed on your horse, wagon, float etc.

Receiving your packet is mandatory.
